Agni Kai #7: Perplexing PostersWelcome Adora, Penny, and Elinor!
It's only natural that on your adventures you all get into some trouble, and in this case, you're coming across wanted posters all over the nation, and some are in very strange, encrypted languages that you can't quite figure out.
With that being said, for this competition, you will be deciphering different words that have been spliced apart and assigned symbols per letter.
In short, you will be given a list of 26 symbols, all of which have been assigned a letter. These symbols and letters have been compiled onto one "poster," alphabetically, which will be posted exactly 5 minutes after these rules have been posted.
In a second poster, there will be boxes with sets of those symbols strung together in segments of 2, 3, or 4. You will then create words with said segments after translating them to their corresponding letters.
Your job is to make exactly 10 correctly spelled English words using all the segments arranged correctly. They can be placed in ANY order, arranged how you want to make words. 2-3 segments may be used per word, no more, and no less. For example, if you are presented with "DER" and "BEN" you may make "BENDER."
If this is not solved within 25 minutes, a hint will be provided on this thread.
Submit your list of 10 completed words in your DR in one message.
Keep in mind that there MAY be some words that you THINK work, but are getting you stuck from completing the rest of the words. You MAY have to disassemble a correct word to create a different word with it in order for all the pieces to fit.
Rules1. There will be 10 words made of 2-3 segments each
2. Answer all in one post
3. Answer in your Diary Room
As stated, the edits will be posted in exactly 5 minutes. Any questions?
EXAMPLE BELOW: If one looks at the images above and links those letters to segments, one would get:
MPLE
EXA
CRE
ATI
ON
EXA + MPLE = EXAMPLE
CRE + ATI + ON = CREATIONSo, therefore, the answers for this would be
"Example" and
"Creation," and those would be the words you'd list in your Diary Room. Obviously, for the actual competition, all letters will have symbols assigned, and the entire board will be filled with segments for you to make your ten words.
To reiterate, the Competition will be posted at 8:05pm ET.
